Delft is the city in the south part of the Netherlands, between Rotterdam and Den Haag. The city is associated with the House of Orange, when the William of Orange took up residence in 1572.

Like many other cities in Holland, several canals are passing through Delft. The old church, with traditional Mid-Age look, could be dated back to 13th Century. While the other Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), with typical Gothic look, standing face-to-face with the City Hall, was built later in 1584, where buried the William of Orange and the royal family members afterwards.
